In November 2008, the international solid waste industry will focus its attention on SINGAPORE, host city of the International Solid Waste Association Annual Congress.
Nearly 1,000 participants are expected to attend from over 50 countries with multiple technical sessions focused on solid waste management. The ISWA/WMRAS World Congress in Singapore promises a unique opportunity for delegates to gain insights into waste management challenges and opportunities in Asia, which is currently the fastest growing region in the world. This is an opportunity not to be missed as Asia requires new environmental and waste management technologies and solutions to cope with its fast pace growth.
This annual event will continue to attract leading solid waste professionals, government officials, industry representatives, specialists, suppliers, engineers, consultants, representatives of community organizations and a host of other experts from around the world to share knowledge and experiences of sustainable waste management in an international forum.
We would like to invite you to participate and contribute to this important event. Researchers, government officials, educators, students, consultants, managers, community leaders, and others with expertise in solid waste are invited to submit papers for presentation at the Congress.
